Salary

• Master’s Degree holder: Rs. 850/- per contact hour, subject to maximum of Rs. 35,000/- per month.
• Ph.D. Degree holder: Rs. 1,000/- per contact hour, subject to maximum of Rs. 42,000/- per month.
• Additional remuneration: Rs. 5000/- per course per semester for setting question papers, evaluation of answer books, and submission of results.

Eligibility

• Candidate must be a citizen of India.
• Must fulfill the prescribed qualifications on the last date of receipt of applications.
• M.Sc./M.Tech. having qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) from ICAR, CSIR-UGC or similar test accredited by UGC/State in the concerned discipline.
• For candidates having Master’s Degree, NET shall remain compulsory along with publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences, New Delhi) rated journal in the discipline.
• Essentiality of NET can be waived for candidates holding Ph.D. Degree, provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations-2009 and the candidate has at least two full length publications having NAAS rating not less than 4 on the last date of submission of application.
• Candidates with Ph.D. degree without course work will not be eligible for this exemption.
• The condition of NET can be relaxed in exceptional cases by the competent authority.
• Retired University/College Teacher(s) of the concerned discipline can also apply.

• Family Resource Management: M.Sc./Ph.D. in Family Resource Management

• This is a stop-gap arrangement and purely on temporary basis for 1st & 2nd semester of the Academic year 2026-2027.
• The services of the person hired for teaching on contact hour basis carry no right for regular appointment.
• The College/University reserves the right to terminate the services of hired person at any time without assigning any reason.
• Applications received after the last date shall not be considered.
• The incumbent will have to obey the Academic Regulation of this University.
• The incumbent engaged shall submit class attendance at the end of each class to the HOD concerned.
• The incumbent shall be assigned duties including registration, examination, invigilation, counseling, and any work related to the academic/students etc.
• The selected incumbent shall have to submit medical fitness certificate from the Sr. Medical Officer, CSKHPKV, Palampur at the time of Joining.
