Salary

• Rs. 650/- per hour with a maximum of Rs. 30,000/- per month for candidates fulfilling eligibility of Assistant Professor in the discipline.
• Rs. 550/- per hour with a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month for candidates possessing Master’s degree only in the concerned discipline.

Eligibility

• Doctorate degree (as per UGC regulation 2009 or 2016) in the subject concerned (Ph.D. Human Nutrition / Ph.D. Food & Nutrition / Ph.D. Home Science, Food Science & Nutrition / Ph.D. Community Science, Food Science & Nutrition / Ph.D. Foods & Nutrition) or related field.
• OR Master’s Degree in subject concerned (M.Sc. Foods & Nutrition / M.Sc. Home Science, Foods & Nutrition / M.Sc. Home Science, Food Science & Nutrition / M.Sc. Community Science, Food Science & Nutrition / M.Sc. Community Science, Food and Nutrition / M.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition / M.Sc. Food & Nutrition) with at least 55% marks or equivalent in the point scale system.
• For candidates having Master’s degree, NET / SLET / SET shall remain compulsory.

Requirements

• The position is purely contractual and temporary in nature, tenable only for Ist Semester of Academic Year 2026-27.
• Selected candidates shall be required to join the duties immediately.
• The terms and conditions of engagement will be as per policy approved by the University.
• In case no eligible candidate is available at the time of interview from the reserved category (OBC), the position shall be filled from the unreserved category.
