Salary

• Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA for 1st year; Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA for 3rd year
• Young Professional-II: Rs. 42,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Eligibility

• For SRF (Position 1): Master Degree in Agronomy / Soil Science / Soil and water conservation engineering with 4/5 years of Bachelors’ degree OR Master’s degree with 3 years Bachelor’s degree, UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualifications, and 2 years of research experience as evidence from Fellowship/Associateship/Training other engagements.
• For SRF (Position 2): Master Degree in Agronomy / Plant Physiology / Crop Physiology with 4/5 years of Bachelors’ degree OR Master’s degree with 3 years Bachelor’s degree, UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualifications, and 2 years of research experience as evidence from Fellowship/Associateship/Training other engagements.
• For YP-II: Master’s Degree in Agronomy / Soil Science / Soil & Water Conservation Engineering.

Requirements

• Desirable for SRF (Position 1): Experience in compiling reports, documentation skills in MS Office.
• Desirable for SRF (Position 2): Experience in field experimentation and crop physiological measurements, Chlorophyll fluorescence (PAM/OJIP), gas exchange measurements (LI-6800/LI-6400 or similar systems), experience in elevated CO2 and temperature studies, and working knowledge of statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS, GenStat).
• Desirable for YP-II: Experience in compiling reports, documentation skills in MS Office.

Age Limit

• For SRF: 35 years for men; 40 years for women (with relaxation as per rules).
• For YP-II: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (with relaxation as per rules).
