Nature of Vacancy
Temporary, contractual basis for an initial period of 12 months (may be extended depending on performance and need of the project).

Eligibility

• Essential: PG degree in any of the allied subjects of life sciences OR MBA/Management degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent.
• Desirable:
• Ph.D. in relevant subject.
• 3-5 years working experience in R&D organization, industry, incubation center, or start-up ecosystem.
• Experience in business/project management.
• Experience of attracting and ensuring business/grants/investments for optimal utilization and sustainability of the center.
• Good communication, managerial, and leadership skills; good drafting and noting skills; conversant with official procedures and capable of writing grant proposals.

Age Limit
The candidate must not exceed 50 years of age on the last date of application. Age may be relaxed for experienced and well-qualified candidates.

Job Description

• Work towards the sustainability of the center.
• Attract and ensure business/grants/investments for optimal utilization and sustainability of the center.
• Develop a good ecosystem to attract and support innovators, technology developers, and startups.
• Connect incubatees with mentors, investors, experts in regulatory affairs, and industry partners.
• Organize seminars, hackathons, trainings, workshops, and sensitization programs for the Faculty, Students, Start-ups, and Industry.
• Liaison with the different departments of the University, Industry, Start-ups, and other organizations.

Selection Process
Through Interview and Personal Interaction by a duly constituted Selection Committee.
