Eligibility
Master’s degree in Natural / Biotechnology / Microbiology or Agricultural Sciences with minimum 65% marks or equivalent CGPA / Grade points from a recognized University or equivalent.

Requirements

• Design and construct binary vectors, CRISPR constructs.
• Conduct photoperiod related experiments.
• Carry out real time gene expression analysis.
• Conduct transcriptome analysis.
• Generate transgenic overexpression and knock out lines for phenotypic analysis.
• Weekly presentation to the PI and team work.

Desirable
6 months of relevant laboratory work experience in R&D in academic Institutions.

Preference
Candidates with experience in plant molecular biology, recombinant DNA technology, cloning, plant transformation and tissue culture techniques will be preferred.

Salary
Rs. 30,000/- + 30 % House Rent Allowance per month.

Tenure
Initially for a period of one year extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.

Age Limit
Not more than 28 years. Age relaxation commensurate with educational qualification/s and / or experience/s of the applicant may be considered for candidates having qualification and experience higher than the advertised with the prior approval of the competent authority.
