The Opportunity
Join a leading forensic medicine institute and contribute to high-impact research that informs clinical practice, policy, and public health. Multiple PhD projects are available across key areas of forensic medicine, including:
- Forensic Toxicology – substance use, drug harms, coronial investigations
- Violence and injury Prevention – injury epidemiology, risk factors, prevention strategies
- Forensic epidemiology – patterns of mortality, population health insights
- International humanitarian issues – forensic response in crisis settings, mass casualties, disaster victim identification
- Work alongside internationally recognised experts within a collaborative and supportive research environment.
About You
We’re looking for a candidate with:
- First Class Honours (or equivalent) in a health-related field
- Experience with mixed methods research, systematic reviews & data analysis
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- (If applicable) IELTS 7.0 (no band < 6.5)
- Peer-reviewed publications (preferred)
