Your tasks:
- Preparation and assistance in the implementation of zoological and botanical practical courses and field courses; preparation of course schedules and keeping attendance lists.
- Procurement and maintenance of course and demonstration materials
- Support and maintenance of technical equipment for teaching
- Ordering and management of materials and chemicals
- General laboratory work and participation in projects
- Assisting with the supervision of student interns
Your profile:
Mandatory requirements:
- Successful completion of training as a laboratory technician or technical assistant in Germany or comparable training or equivalent knowledge and skills
- Ability to independently plan and conduct experiments in student internships
Other knowledge and skills that are significantly taken into account in the selection decision include:
- high level of commitment and very good communication skills within the team
- independent, responsible and cooperative work style
- Flexibility and mobility for field work
- Knowledge of ecological and physiological working methods
- IT skills and their task-oriented application
- Good English skills or willingness to participate in professional development courses, as well as good written and spoken communication skills in German and English.
