Salary

• Rs. 37,000/- per month + 20% HRA for the first two years (JRF).
• Rs. 42,000/- per month + 20% HRA for the third year (SRF).

Location
Department of Mycology and Plant Pathology, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility

• M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Plant Pathology/ Mycology and Plant Pathology/Microbiology/Plant Sciences.
• Must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET/ICAR-ASRB NET/GATE.

Desirable Qualifications

• Preference for candidates with prior experience with plant viruses and plant insect vectors.

Age Limit
28 years (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/Physically challenged/Female candidates and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates).

Requirements

• Assist in routine laboratory work (microbe culturing & rearing of whitefly), molecular biology experiments, field evaluation, data analysis, and maintenance of project records.
