Emoluments

Eligibility

• M. Sc. in Zoology, Biochemistry with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Candidates must have qualified NET/GATE or any other national-level examination as per ANRF guidelines.

Desirable Qualification

• Knowledge of biochemical and molecular biology techniques such as spectrophotometry, HPLC, GC-MS, DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, gel electrophoresis, gene expression analysis.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and experimental design using software such as R, SPSS, SAS, GraphPad Prism, or equivalent.
• Good communication, scientific writing, and presentation skill

Age Limit
The upper age limit is 28 years as of the last date of application.

Terms and Conditions

• The position will be filled in accordance with the applicable guidelines of ANRF.
• Candidates will be strongly encouraged to pursue a Ph.D. in the relevant topic.
• The position is purely temporary and contractual in nature and is sanctioned exclusively for the duration of the project.
• The appointment is co-terminus with the project. The selected candidate shall have no claim, implied or otherwise, for regular appointment/absorption in the University or under the funding agency.
• Candidates who are presently employed or working in any research project, government organization, or private institution must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer at the time of interview/joining.
• The fellowship, emoluments, leave, and other service conditions shall be governed by the prevailing ANRF norms and guidelines, as amended from time to time.
• The Principal Investigator and the University reserve the right to shortlist candidates based on academic qualifications, research experience, and suitability for the project.
• The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding in all matters related to the recruitment process.
• Canvassing in any form or attempt to influence the selection process will lead to immediate disqualification of the candidate.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
