The Institute of Medical Genetics at the University of Zurich is committed to research, teaching, and providing services to patients with congenital diseases. For our service area, we are seeking a full-time (100%) Molecular Genetics Diagnostician for our accredited diagnostic laboratory, specifically for the Genome Diagnostics team.
Tasks
- Evaluation and interpretation of high-throughput sequencing data (exome and genome analyses)
- Quality control
- documentation
- General case management
- Personal professional development
- Assistance with research projects as needed
- Establishment of new methods as needed
profile
You should hold a Master’s degree in a natural science, be a team player, conscientious, and resilient, and be seeking a challenging position. Experience with molecular genetic analyses and good German language skills would be advantageous.
