Veterinary Practice Assistant position – Equine Medicine

Tasks

• Assistance with veterinary examinations and treatments
• Working in the operating room, including on-call duties at night and on weekends.
• Preparation and administration of medications
• Recording of services, medications and consumables in the hospital software
• Vocational trainer for currently two trainee TPAs
• Support in managing the hospital pharmacy and procuring materials
• Organization of hospital laundry in cooperation with the external laundry service

Your profile

• Completed training as a TPA (EFZ)
• Safe handling of horses
• High reliability
• Teamwork skills, flexibility and independent working style
• Vocational trainer or willingness to complete this course
