Biological-technical assistant

Your tasks

• DNA/RNA extraction
• Quality and quantity control (e.g., qubit, nanodrop, fragment analyzer)
• Operation of Illumina and Oxford Nanopore sequencers
• Sanger sequencing
• Cultivation of microorganisms
• Documentation and evaluation of experiments using computer systems
• Support of the laboratories as well as the chemical measuring instruments and equipment, including procurement, commissioning and maintenance.
• Ordering, management and disposal of chemicals
• Guidance of trainees and supervision of students

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as a biological-technical assistant or biological laboratory technician
• Knowledge of NGS and microbiology is advantageous.
• good English skills
• good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
