Project Details

  • Funding Agency: Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), New Delhi under core grant scheme (CRG)

Project Duration

  • Up to March 1, 2027 (The appointment is co-terminus with the project)

Salary

  • Rs. 37000/month + House rent allowance 30%

Location

  • Place of Posting: ICAR-NBAIR, Yelahanka Campus
  • Interview Venue: ICAR-National Bureau of Agricultural Insect Resources, Hebbal, Bangalore, Karnataka

Eligibility

  • M.Sc in Agricultural Entomology with ICAR/ CSIR/UGC-NET or equivalent National Level Eligibility Test as DST guidelines (Desirable Qualification)
  • Candidates with research experience in insect taxonomy, DNA barcoding, Insect culture maintenance and data analysis (Desirable)

Requirements

  • The applicant must submit attested copies of certificates along with the application and a brief of research work done vis-a-vis publications in peer-reviewed journals during post-graduation & present employment, and two passport size photographs.
  • Applicants must bring their original documents at the time of interview for verification.
  • A No Objection Certificate from the employer/University is required if the candidate is in employment elsewhere.
  • The application must be Type-filled and signed by the candidate (hand-scribbled applications will be rejected).

Age Limit

  • Maximum 35 years for male and 40 years for female.
  • Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is applicable as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules.

  • Candidates must be present at the interview venue half an hour before the scheduled time (by 10:30 AM). Late arrivals after 10:30 AM will be considered absent.
