Salary

• Junior Research Assistant (JRA): Rs. 25000/- per month for the first two years and Rs. 28000/- per month for the third year (consolidated)
• Lab Assistant / Project Assistant: Rs. 23000 + 18% HRA
• Young Professional-II (Certification Laboratory): Rs. 35000/- Per Month Fixed
• Young Professional-II (Centre of Excellence on Nutri-Cereals): Rs. 35000/- fixed per month
• Young Professional-I (Centre of Excellence on Nutri-Cereals): Rs. 25000/- fixed per month
• Young Professional-II (Carbon Credit Readiness): Rs. 42,000/- consolidated per month
• Young Professional-I (Directorate of Education): Rs. 25,000/- consolidated per month

Eligibility

• Junior Research Assistant (JRA): M.Sc. (Ag.) Plant Pathology/ M.Sc. Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or equivalent degree with high academic attainment with 1st class in Graduate and Post Graduate examinations. Candidates with higher qualifications may also apply. The applicant must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh only.
• Lab Assistant / Project Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural sciences.
• Young Professional-II (Certification Laboratory): M.Sc. degree in Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Agricultural Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ Agriculture Chemistry/ Agrochemicals & Pest Management/ Analytical chemistry and allied science/ Chemistry and allied science.
• Young Professional-II (Centre of Excellence on Nutri-Cereals): M.Sc.(Ag), M.Sc./ M.Tech. in Food Science & Technology/ Engineering from a recognized University.
• Young Professional-I (Centre of Excellence on Nutri-Cereals): M.Sc. Agriculture from a recognized University.
• Young Professional-II (Carbon Credit Readiness): Masters Degree in Forestry/ Agroforestry / Forest Resource Management/ Life Science/ Remote Sensing.
• Young Professional-I (Directorate of Education): Graduate degree in a relevant discipline (such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Science, Commerce, or Computer/IT/Engineering) or a Diploma in Engineering/Technology.

Requirements

• Junior Research Assistant (JRA): Desirable: Experience on Mushroom Cultivation.
• Lab Assistant / Project Assistant: Desirable: Experience for research lab and field experiments with computer knowledge. Candidates having Masters in Genetics and Plant Breeding.
• Young Professional-II (Certification Laboratory): Specialization: Working experience on LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS instruments.
• Young Professional-II (Centre of Excellence on Nutri-Cereals): Desirable: Knowledge of working in food processing, quality control and microbiological analysis in Lab and having minimum 2 years of experience. Should know about handling Microsoft office application (Word, Excel, Power-Point and IT Tools).
• Young Professional-I (Centre of Excellence on Nutri-Cereals): Desirable: M.Sc. Agronomy / Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Soil science/ Biochemistry/ PHT/ Biotechnology. Good knowledge of conducting field & Laboratory experiments and having at least 2 years of research experience. Knowledge in field data handling, management, and report writing.
• Young Professional-II (Carbon Credit Readiness): Desirable: Experience in Agroforestry inventory, biomass estimation, carbon stock assessment, and field data collection. Experience in processing and analyzing satellite data (Sentinel, Landsat, Planet Scope, etc.) for land use/land cover, vegetation, and carbon mapping. Candidates having at least two research publications in SCI/Scopus/UGC-CARE indexed journals. Good communication, technical documentation, and presentation skills.
• Young Professional-I (Directorate of Education): Desirable Skills: Working knowledge of computer applications, specifically MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data entry, record digitization.

Age Limit

• Junior Research Assistant (JRA): Upper age limit is 28 years on 1st April 2026.
• Lab Assistant / Project Assistant: Minimum Age will be 21 years and Maximum Age will be 50 years as on date of Interview.
• Young Professional-II (Certification Laboratory): Minimum Age will be 21 years and Maximum Age will be 45 years as on date of Interview (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PH candidates as per govt. rules).
• Young Professional-II (Centre of Excellence on Nutri-Cereals): Minimum Age will be 21 years and Maximum Age will be 45 years as on date of Interview (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PH candidates as per govt. rules).
• Young Professional-I (Centre of Excellence on Nutri-Cereals): Minimum Age will be 21 years and Maximum Age will be 45 years as on date of Interview (relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PH candidates as per govt. rules).

• Eligible candidates must appear for a Walk-in Interview at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Near Pahuj Dam, Gwalior Road, Jhansi-284003.
• Candidates are required to bring relevant certificates/mark sheets in original along with an application with full bio-data enclosing photocopies of certificates and mark sheets from matriculation onwards duly attested, affixing a passport size photograph on the top.
• No TA/DA and official accommodation will be provided for appearing in the interview.
• Selected candidates will be required to produce a medical certificate at the time of joining.
• The appointment will be made purely on ad-hoc basis for a period of one year or termination of the project whichever is earlier and based on performance; the engagement may be extended further following prescribed norms.
