Eligibility

• Essential: Master’s degree (minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA) in relevant branch of Biological Sciences along with 04 years (Post PG) R & D experience or PhD in relevant branch of Biological Sciences.
• Note: If a suitable candidate is not available, the position may be filled with Project Associate-II (Master’s degree with 02 years R & D experience) or Project Associate-I (Master’s degree).

Desirable Qualifications

• Candidates with published work/experience in the project area shall be given preference.

Responsibilities

• Culture, isolation and characterization (microbial, biochemical and gene based) of microbes involved in production of fermented products.
• Writing research papers on the outcome of the project.

Salary

• Rs. 42,000 + HRA (9%) for Senior Project Associate.
• Stipend for Project Associate-II/I as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10th July 2020.
