Applications are invited for the following temporary postof one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the DBT-funded project entitled ‘Integrative analysis of prevalent Metabolism Disrupting Chemicals/obesogens mediated Dysregulation of Thyroid Hormone Receptor in the Genesis of Obesity’ at the Special Centre for Molecular Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi-110067.

Post: Senior Research Fellow (One position)
Emoluments: Rs 42,000/- Plus 27% HRA as per sanction and rules
Age Limit: 35 years (age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms)  
 

Essential Qualifications:
• M.Sc. (CSIR/DBT/ICMR/UGC NET qualified) in any branch of Biological/Life Sciences or other related field with strong academic record.
• Minimum two years of research experience in the related field.
 

Desirable Qualifications: Candidates for SRF who have published original research articles or have suitable work experience in ‘Receptor Biology’ or Molecular & Cellular Endocrinology may be preferred. Candidates with experience in live-cell imaging and animal handling may be given priority. Applicants will be shortlisted for appearing in an interview based on eligibility criteria and suitability. Selection will be made based on performance during the interview.

Duration: About 8 months, i.e., till the completion of the project on May 7, 2027.
