Salary

• Rs. 61,000/- per month + HRA (for Master’s Degree holders)
• Rs. 67,000/- per month + HRA (for Ph.D)

Eligibility

• Ph.D in Agriculture with specialization in Agro Meteorology / Agronomy / Meteorology / Agriculture Physics OR Master’s Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Agro Meteorology / Agronomy / Meteorology / Agriculture Physics with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree (UG, PG and Ph.D from ICAR accredited university only) having first division or equivalent overall grade point average.
• At least 3 years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associate ship / Training / Other engagements.
• One research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) / NAAS rated (>=4) Journal.
• Preference will be given for Agro meteorology qualification with all relevant degrees from ICAR accredited University only.

Requirements

• Candidate having knowledge / experience in meteorological data processing, interpretation with field data, agricultural knowledge with experience, remote sensing, crop simulation modeling and Computer knowledge will be preferred.

Age Limit

• 40 Years for Men
• 45 Years for Women

Duration

• 11 months or Co-terminus with the project (purely on temporary and contractual basis)
