Eligibility

• Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Agrometeorology OR Agronomy from a recognized university.
• Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidate with higher education in Agromet and having knowledge of Crop Weather Relationship. Experience in programming language such as R and Python etc.

Terms and Conditions

• The position is purely on temporary and contractual basis for six months under the Mission Mausam -III Project under All India Coordinated Research Project on Agrometeorology at ZARS, Solapur.
• The Young Professional- II will work under the administrative control of the Principal investigator and Co-Principal Investigator of the project.
• The appointment will stand terminated on completion of the tenure of the project or on the date stated in the appointment order whichever is earlier.
• The services of Young Professional-II will stand terminated if he/she remain absent without permission for the period of 15 days.
• The appointment of Young Professional- II will be terminated in case of negligence in his/her work.
• Young Professional-II will not leave the project without prior notice to the office. He/she can leave the project by giving one-month notice in writing in advance or remit the one months salary.
• The Chief Scientist, AICRPDA, Solapur has right to terminate the services of Young Professional-II without giving any reason thereof.
• Young Professional-II (YP-II) will not accept other appointments in Govt. or private services. He/she will follow the rules and regulations of the University.
• The notification does not mean that all the posts will be necessarily filled in.
• The applicants will appear for the interview on scheduled date and time. No TA and DA will be paid to appear for the interview.
• The in-service candidate will submit the application through proper channel with NOC from the present employer if any.
• The Young Professional- II after appointment will execute an undertaking on Rs.100- stamp regarding the terms and conditions given at Sr. No. 4,5,6 and 7.
• Canvassing in any form will make the candidate completely disqualify from the process.
