Essential Qualification
M.Sc. in Horticulture/Agriculture/Fruit Science/ Genetics & Plant Breeding.

Desirable Qualification/Experience

• Experience in field survey, germplasm collection and characterization of horticultural crops.
• Experience in nursery management and propagation techniques of fruit crops.
• Good documentation, report writing and communication skills.

Age Limit
Below 35 years as on 28th July 2026. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

Nature of Position
Purely temporary and contractual basis, co-terminus with the project. Performance will be scrutinized by the Project team every 6 months. Does not confer any claim for regular appointment.

Instructions for Candidates

• Interested candidates should report at the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled interview time for document verification.
• Candidates must bring their application for the applied post, updated biodata, recent passport-size photograph, original certificates and mark sheets, along with one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
• Candidates should also carry a valid photo identity proof.
• Candidates employed elsewhere must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates have to arrange transport/accommodation themselves.
• Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
• Mere fulfilment of minimum educational qualification does not guarantee selection.
• The Principal Investigator reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
• The Institute reserves the right to call only the number of candidates based on qualifications and suitability or cancel the recruitment.
