Project : Targeted editing of host susceptibility factors to engineer multiple disease resistance in tomato.

Junior Research Fellow (One)

Salary : @37000/- per month plus HRA (as per DBT rules and guidelines for JRF).

Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Biological / Life Sciences with at least 60% (or equivalent marks) or equivalent degree in any branch of biological/ life sciences, having qualified CSIR/UGC NET.

Desirable Qualifications: Research experience in the area of genome CRISPR Cas9 Genome editing, plant virus interaction, transgenic plant development, protein-protein interactions.

The competent authority may select a candidate in the lower position against the above posts depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.
