Salary
Rs. 37,000/- per month + 18% HRA for the first two years (JRF) and Rs. 42,000/- per month + 18% HRA for the third year (SRF), as per DBT norms.

Location
Laboratory of Cyanobacterial Systematics and Stress Biology, Department of Botany, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi – 221005, Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility
Applicants must have JRF, NET or GATE qualification and hold an M.Sc. degree in Botany / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Applied Microbiology / Plant Science / Life Science with at least 55% or equivalent marks.

Requirements

• Desirable Skills: Hands-on experience in microbiological and molecular biology techniques, cyanobacterial/algal culture handling, DNA extraction, PCR, sequence analysis, bioinformatics, metabolomics, or related laboratory techniques.

Age Limit
As per the DBT guidelines.
