Job Title: Young Professional-II (YP-II)

Number of Posts: 01

Salary: Rs. 42,000/- (Consolidated) per month

Location: ICAR-Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture (CIBA), Chennai

Project Name: Super-Intensive Precision and Natural Shrimp Farming (SIPNSF)

Eligibility

• Postgraduate degree (M.F.Sc.) in Aquaculture / Fish Nutrition and Feed Technology.
• OR M.Sc. in Zoology / Marine Biology or related disciplines with a minimum of one year (mandatory) of research experience in a relevant field from a recognized university.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in shrimp farming, commercial aquaculture operations, intensive farming, RAS, etc. (Desirable).

Age Limit

• Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women as on date of interview.
• Relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates as per rules.

Tenure

• Purely temporary for one year.

Eligibility

• Under Graduate or Diploma degree with field-level working experience in shrimp farms.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in shrimp / fish farm management (Desirable).
• Readiness to stay and work full-time at a shrimp farm (Desirable).
• Willingness to perform day-to-day farm activities including feeding, sampling using cast net, swimming inside ponds for sludge removal and aeration (Desirable).
