Job Title: Project Research Scientist-II (PRS-II)

Number of Posts: 01

Salary: Rs. 67,000/- per month + 30% HRA (= Rs. 87,100/- per month)

Project Name: “Indigenized low-cost coconut milk based low-protein diet – A panacea for metabolic management of IEM in organic acidemias and urea cycle disorders” (ICMR Intermediate Grant) [CC-PI: Dr. Neelam Upadhyay]

Eligibility

• Post Graduate degree, including integrated PG degree in Food Technology / Dairy Technology / Dairy Chemistry / Food Chemistry / Food Science and Technology / Food Science and Nutrition / Biochemistry, and allied disciplines, with three years post-qualification experience.
• OR PhD in the above-mentioned disciplines.

Requirements

• Experience in biochemical techniques and biostatistics (Desirable).
• High-impact research publications (Desirable).
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from current employer, if applicable.

Age Limit

• As per the guidelines of the funding agency (ICMR).

Tenure

• Purely temporary and contractual for an initial period of one year or project duration, whichever is earlier.
• Extendable on a yearly basis based on satisfactory performance until project termination.
• No provision for re-engagement after project termination; no claim for regular appointment.
