Eligibility

• Masters Degree in the concerned discipline recognized by Kerala Agricultural University with a minimum of 55% marks and NET qualification.
• In the absence of candidates with NET, candidates having Master’s Degree in the concerned discipline will be considered.
• Essential Qualification: M.Sc (Ag) Agronomy (above 55% Marks).

Requirements

• Desirable: Ph.D and Teaching experience in the discipline concerned.

Age Limit

• Should not be above 40 years as on 01/01/2026.
• Age relaxation as per existing Government rules will be granted to eligible candidates.

Terms and Conditions

• The appointment will be purely provisional for a period of one year or till the appointment of regular hands, whichever comes earlier.
• The candidate will have no claim in the University other than to receive the consolidated remuneration attached to the post. The appointment will not confer on him/her any right of permanency or regularisation in KAU.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
• An agreement in the prescribed form will be executed by the candidate in Stamp paper worth Rs. 200/-, if selected for appointment.
• The candidate, if selected, will discharge all such duties that are attached to the post as per KAU Act/Statutes/Regulation & Rules and that may be assigned to him/her from time to time by the Head of Institution/Departments.
• Onattukara Regional Agricultural Research Station/Kerala Agricultural University has the right to terminate the services of temporary appointment if the performance is found unsatisfactory or any such defects noticed.

• Certificate of experience in related field, if any.
• Scientific publications, other trainings & certifications in the field, if any.
