Nature of Post and Duration
Purely temporary for one year from the date of recruitment and extendable for a maximum period of two years based upon performance, or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The positions are contractual, non-regular, time-bound, and co-terminus with the project.

Salary
Rs. 37,000/- per month (consolidated) + HRA

Kochi

Eligibility

  • Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in discipline of Fisheries/Agriculture/Veterinary/Chemical Sciences from a recognized university.
  • Essential Experience: Experience in project monitoring, data analysis, documentation, and proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, database handling, report preparation) relevant to the activities of the funded project.
  • Desirable: Prior experience of working with marine microalgae and CRISPR-Cas9 Genome Editing.

Age Limit
21-45 years with relaxation as per rule

  • Candidates must bring all original certificates and one valid ID proof at the time of the interview.
  • Candidates having marks issued in the form of CGPA/OGPA should produce an approved conversion table/formula at the time of reporting for the interview.
  • Candidates should produce a No Objection Certificate from their present employer, if any.
  • If any near or distant relative is an employee of ICAR-CMFRI, the candidate must declare their name, designation, nature of duties, and relationship in writing as detailed in Annexure-II, and communicate it by post or email to ebeneezars@gmail.com before the interview date.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants for appearing in the interview.
