Position Summary
BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (BRIC-NIAB), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, located at Gachibowli, Hyderabad, invites applications for one Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) position (Advt. No. 13/2026).
The post is against an ICMR-funded project titled “Deciphering the molecular processes underlying oxidative stress-induced ovarian reserve decline and identifying potential therapeutic strategies for impeding Premature Ovarian Ageing,” with Dr. H.B.D. Prasada Rao (NIAB, Hyderabad) as Principal Investigator.
The fellowship is ₹56,000 + 30% HRA (if applicable). The age limit is 35 years.
The essential qualification is a Postgraduate degree (including integrated PG degrees) in Life Sciences, or a Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences in a Professional course. Candidates with experience in large/small animal handling and ovarian biology will be preferred.

Note: Only a Provisional Degree Certificate or Convocation Degree Certificate will be accepted as proof of educational qualification, and experience certificates must be issued by the Head of the Department/Office.
