Eligibility
- Research Associate-1: Ph.D. degree or submitted Ph.D. thesis; selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE, GPAT) or selection process via central government departments/agencies (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.). For GAP-94, Ph.D. in Life Sciences or Biotechnology with at least two peer-reviewed international publications in SCI journals.
- Senior Research Fellow: Postgraduate degree in basic science or graduate/postgraduate degree in professional course selected through National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGC-NET, GATE, GPAT) or selection process via central government departments/agencies; or two years of research experience as JRF.
- Field/Lab Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences/Agricultural Science/Biotechnology or allied subjects, or Diploma in Engineering and technology in Agricultural Science/Biotechnology or allied subjects.
Age Limit
- Research Associate-1: 40 years
- Senior Research Fellow: 32 years
- Field/Lab Assistant: 50 years
