Salary

• Senior Research Fellow: ₹37,000 + HRA/month for 1st and 2nd year; ₹42,000 + HRA/month for 3rd year.
• Field Assistant: ₹20,000 + HRA/month.

Eligibility

• Senior Research Fellow: Master degree in Science (Plant Pathology/ Entomology/ Nematology/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Zoology/ Molecular Biology/ Plant Genetic Resources/ Life Sciences) from a recognized University or equivalent degree with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent or a Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines.
• Field Assistant: Graduate in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry/Life sciences from a Recognized University in India.

Requirements

• Senior Research Fellow (Desirable): Experience in plant pathology/entomology/nematology/molecular biology laboratory related works; Basic knowledge of Computer (MS office, Excel, PPT etc.).
• Field Assistant (Desirable): Experience in plant pathology/microbiology laboratory related works; Basic knowledge of Computer (MS office, Excel, PPT etc.).

Age Limit

• Senior Research Fellow: Upper age limit 35 years.
• Field Assistant: Upper age limit 50 years.
• Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/woman candidates, up to 10 years for Differently Abled candidates, and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer), as per Govt. of India/ICAR Rules.
