1. independence, accuracy and responsibility in research work
2. interest in scientific work, good communication and teamwork
3. good knowledge of English
4. participant of bachelor’s studies in the field of biotechnology, molecular biology or related
Description of tasks :
Ribonucleic acid (RNA) molecules play an extremely important and diverse role in gene expression in all living organisms. RNA-related mechanisms also underlie human diseases, and RNA molecules are used in therapeutic strategies. Chaperone proteins participate in the regulation of gene expression by RNA molecules in many bacteria. The Fellow’s task will be to measure the rate of formation and dissolution of interactions between chaperone proteins and selected RNA molecules using fluorescent molecules. The goal of this research is to clarify which features of the sequence and structure of RNA molecules allow for their rapid and stable binding to chaperone proteins.
