Subject description

Lisa Westerberg’s research group is looking for a person with a well-documented research and teaching profile in drug development and immunology.

Your role

We are looking for an independent and highly motivated research specialist with extensive expertise in immunology and drug development, especially against immunodeficiency diseases with a special focus on megakaryocyte biology and platelets. The selected candidate will lead projects related to platelet function and its interaction with immunodeficiency disease and run drug screening campaigns on a laboratory scale using CRISPR-Cas9-modified cell line models. The studies will be performed with human samples and murine models. The research specialist is expected to design and lead his/her own projects, contribute to other projects in collaboration both in the laboratory and with external collaborators, and mentor students.
