Your tasks
- Implementation and execution of maintenance measures and sampling/assessments in the crop production trials (harvest, soil, etc.) in close coordination with the experimental stations and the coordination team.
- Conducting and evaluating assessments such as weed and pathogen recording, also using models to estimate forecasts of pest occurrence, and documenting the results of field trials in the project’s internal database.
- Preparation of nutrient balances in the form of farm gate and field balances throughout the entire project period
- Coordination and implementation of the experiment in close cooperation with the coordination team and the experimental station
- Assistance with the writing of scientific publications, transfer publications and annual reports on the individual field trials
Your profile
- Above-average grades in agricultural sciences, agricultural biology, or a similarly oriented course of study with a diploma or master’s degree.
- Possesses profound knowledge in plant cultivation and many years of experience in the planning and implementation of interdisciplinary research approaches in field trials.
- Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Excellent computer skills (including MS Office, GPS, forecasting models)
- License to drive tractors. Extensive experience in handling agricultural equipment.
