Eligibility

• Ph.D. in Genetics & Plant Breeding OR
• Master’s Degree (Agriculture) in Genetics & Plant Breeding OR
• Bachelor’s Degree (Agriculture) of 4/5 years having first division or equivalent overall grade point average.
• Experience for at least 3 years of respective teaching/research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/Training/other engagements.
• Published one research paper in science Citation index (SCI)/NAAS rated ≥4.0 journals.
• Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have the NET qualification.

Salary

• Master’s Degree holders: 61,000/- + Applicable HRA
• Ph.D. Degree holders: 67,000/- + Applicable HRA
• HRA will be given as per the existing State Governments rates applicable in various places/locations and subjected to change from time to time as per Government orders.

Age Limit

• 40 years for Men
• 45 years for Women
