Eligibility

• For College of Agriculture, College of Community Science, College of Basic Sciences & Humanities, and College of Fisheries: Master’s degree with 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject and cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, ICAR, or CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC (like SLET/SET), or awarded a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016. Candidates with a Ph.D. from a foreign university ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (QS, THE, or ARWU) are also eligible.
• For College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences: Basic B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from a college recognized by the Veterinary Council of India and registered with the state/central Veterinary Council, plus a Master’s degree with 55% marks and NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per the criteria mentioned above.
• For College of Technology: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent.
• For College of Agribusiness Management: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and Master’s degree in Business Administration/PGDM/C.A./ICWA/M.Com. with first class or equivalent and two years of professional experience after the Master’s degree.
