Eligibility

• MSc (Horticulture) with NET
• Applicants should have PhD or Master’s Degree (Horticulture) with NET recognized by the Kerala Agricultural University with a minimum of 55% marks.
• In the absence of NET qualified candidates, applicants with PhD / Master’s degree in Horticulture recognized by KAU will be considered.

Desirable

• Teaching experience in the concerned discipline

Age Limit

• Not above 50 years as on 30/09/2026.
• Age relaxation as per existing Government rules will be granted to eligible candidates.

Terms and Conditions

• The appointment will be purely provisional for a period of one year or till the appointment of a regular hands, whichever comes earlier.
• The candidate will have no claim in the University other than to receive the remuneration attached to the post. The appointment will not confer on him/her any right of permanency or regularisation in KAU.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in-interview.
• An agreement in the prescribed form should be executed by the candidate in Stamp paper worth Rs.200/-, if selected for appointment.
• The candidate, if selected, should discharge all such duties that are attached to the post as per KAU Act/Statue/Regulations & Rules and that may be assigned to him/her from time to time.
• The University has the right to terminate the temporary appointment if the performance is found unsatisfactory or any such defects noticed.
