About the Role
As the Research Fellow, you will contribute to leading clinical neuroscience research projects focused on the neurobiology of mental health, with a primary emphasis on psychotic disorders. Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator, you will oversee project management activities including study design, data collection, analysis, reporting and dissemination of research findings. You will play a key role in developing research outputs, supporting grant funding applications, and contributing to high-impact research that advances understanding and treatment of mental health conditions

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in administering and delivering successful research projects related to biomarkers of mental health in humans.
  • Demonstrated skills in advanced neuroimaging analytics for human MRI data.
  • Experience in production of peer-reviewed publications related to neuroimaging and psychiatry.
  • Demonstrated quantitative research experience.
  • High degree of proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g. Python, Bash, R).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and conducting quantitative research with human participants in the field of cognitive neuroscience or similar.
  • Familiarity with psychological and pharmacological therapeutics for psychopathology.
  • Strong computer literacy skills including some familiarity with Linux operating systems.

Qualifications

  • A PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in cognitive neuroscience or related discipline.
