Eligibility

• First-class Master’s degree (including integrated Master’s degrees) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular & Human Genetics, Zoology, Animal Science, or Life Sciences.
• OR Second-class post-graduate degree (including integrated PG degrees) with Ph.D. in the above-mentioned subjects from a recognized University.
• For engineering/IT/CS: First-class 4-year graduation degree + 3 years of research experience in the field of Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular & Human Genetics, Zoology, Animal Science, or Life Sciences.
• Candidate should also have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent examination.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with handling of human cell culture, telomere function assays, telomere length analysis, confocal microscopy, q-FISH, and basic molecular techniques.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit is 35 years.
• Relaxable for 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female Candidates.
• All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.

Project Duration

• Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Maximum duration of one year.

Last Date

• Within 21 days from the date of advertisement.
