CSIR – Central Food Technological Research Institute (CSIR-CFTRI), Mysuru, Karnataka

Tenure
Initially for a period up to 31.03.2027 and may be extendable up to 31.03.2028 based on the requirement or till the end of the project duration, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility

• M.Sc. in Microbiology or Biotechnology or equivalent from a recognised university.
• Must have cleared National-level Eligibility Tests such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE etc.
• Only candidates who have already acquired the essential qualification and whose results have been declared are eligible to apply. Candidates with results awaited or those appearing/appeared in the final semester are not eligible.
• Candidates who have already served CSIR-CFTRI or any other lab/institute of CSIR as Project Staff at any level in CSIR projects for a total period of 6 years or more are not eligible.

Desirable Qualification

• Experience in research work related to microbiological techniques and fermentation.

Requirements

• To carry out R&D activities aligned with the project objectives.

Age Limit

• Maximum 35 years as on 10.08.2026.
• Relaxation in age limit is 05 years for candidates belonging to the category of SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 03 years for the category of OBC.
