Project Title
Role of long non-coding RNAs in predicting the chemosensitivity of triple-negative breast cancer

Duration
The project is sanctioned up to three years. The appointment will be on a temporary basis for a period of one year. Based on the performance in the first year, the appointment could be extended till the end of the project.

Eligibility

• Postgraduate degree (with minimum 55% marks) including the integrated PG degrees in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Biological Sciences or a related discipline.

Requirements

• Working experience with mammalian cell culture, molecular and cell biology techniques, cancer biology for a minimum period of 6 months (Desirable).
• Proof of having qualified a national level examination conducted by recognized government agencies such as CSIR, UGC, ICMR, DBT, GATE, or DST (Desirable).

Salary

• Rs 36,580 [Salary: Rs 31,000 + 18% HRA (Rs 5,580)] to candidates with valid certificate in support of (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) National level examinations relevant to biological sciences conducted by central government departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
• Rs 29,500 [Salary: Rs 25,000 + 18% HRA (Rs 4,500)] for others who do not fall under the category above.

Age Limit
Up to 35 years (Age relaxation is admissible as per Govt of India guidelines).

On or before 09.09.2026 (within 15 days of the publication of the advertisement on the AIIMS Guwahati website).

• Self-attested copy of Govt issued identity card (Adhaar/PAN/Voter ID/Passport).
• No Objection Certificate from the current employer (if working in government service).

Other Details

• Selected candidate may be permitted to register for the PhD program of AIIMS Guwahati subject to fulfilling the requirements of the admission process of the Institute.
• No travelling or other allowances will be paid to the candidate for appearing in the written examination/Interview or for joining the post.
