Essential Qualification

• Masters/Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences/MVSc/Animal Sciences from a recognized University.
• OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University.

Desirable Qualification

• Experience in handling microbes, molecular identification, phenotypic characterization and preservation.
• Experience in molecular biology techniques i.e. DNA isolation, RNA isolation, PCR, RT-PCR, Sanger sequencing, microbial genomics, etc.

Age Limit

• 35 years.
• Relaxation in the age limit for candidates belonging to the category of SC/ST/PwBD/Women shall be 05 years.
• Relaxation in the age limit for the category of OBC shall be 03 years.

Monthly Emoluments

• Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) or GATE, or those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions.
• Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under the above criteria.
