Salary

• Project Associate I: Rs. 31,000 + HRA for scholars selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. Rs. 25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under the above.
• Field Worker: Rs. 18,000/- + HRA per month

Eligibility

• Project Associate I: Master’s degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/ Genetics and Plant Breeding/Biotechnology with 4/5 years’ bachelor’s degree. Those with 3 years’ bachelor’s degree must have NET (National Eligibility Tests) – UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or a selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. OR Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences /MVSC or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Field Worker: Graduate degree in any discipline

Requirements

• Project Associate I (Desirable): Experience in molecular markers, field phenotyping and handling of field crop.
• Field Worker (Desirable): Knowledge of working in lab, field and glasshouse.

Age Limit

• Maximum age 35 years for Project Associate I, and 50 years for Field Worker.
• Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC.
