Post-doc

Requirements :

We are looking for a researcher with a PhD in biological sciences or a related discipline and experience in one or both of the following areas:

plant evolutionary-developmental biology, including experience with techniques such as in situ hybridization, tissue culture optimization, plant regeneration and/or transformation;

AND/OR

evolutionary research using comparative genomics and comparative transcriptomics of eukaryotes.

Candidates should have a good publication record, international research experience, very good command of English, and the ability to work independently. Experience supervising students and research mobility are additional assets.

The PhD must have been awarded in the year of employment or within the seven years preceding 1 January of the year of employment. If hired, the University of Warsaw must be the candidate’s primary place of employment.

Description of tasks :

Conducting research within the scope of the project, presenting the results at national and international conferences, and preparing scientific publications.
