Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Exploratory data analysis of large-scale genomic datasets
- Development of novel algorithms for multi-omics data integration
- Contribution to scientific publications and presentations
- Collaboration with other researchers
Your qualifications:
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics or a related field
- Strong programming skills in R or Python
- Proficiency in Linux and high-performance computing (HPC) systems is a plus.
- Experience with NGS data analysis (e.g. RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, WGBS, ChIP-seq) is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform data analysis and interpret complex datasets
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Strong written and spoken English skills

We are offering a PhD position (65%) for three years focusing on the development of algorithms for multi-omics data integration in the context of neuroepigenetics. The successful candidate will work on a project investigating the epigenetic regulatory mechanisms in neurodegenerative diseases using multi-omics single-cell and bulk sequencing data.
