Salary

• Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000 + HRA (27%) for the first and second year; Rs. 42,000 + HRA (27%) for the third year.
• Field Assistant: Rs. 20,000 + HRA (27%).

Eligibility

• Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow: Master’s degree in Horticulture/Fruit Science/Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology/Life Sciences with 4/5 years bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences must have a 3-year bachelor’s degree and must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET, GATE qualification, or an equivalent, or a Ph.D. in any of the above disciplines.
• Field Assistant: B.Sc./3 years diploma in Engineering and Tech. Graduate degree in any discipline.

Age Limit

• Junior Research Fellow/Senior Research Fellow: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules).
• Field Assistant: Maximum 50 years.
