Salary

• Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000 + 27% HRA per month
• Field Worker: Rs. 18,000 + 27% HRA per month

Eligibility

• Junior Research Fellow:
• Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (master’s degree in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Agricultural Biotechnology) selected through a process described through any one of the following:
• Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
• The selection process through national-level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
• Desirable: Experience in crop genetics and breeding, field and laboratory experimentation, data analysis, documentation, and the compilation of reports, with a preference for research experience in wheat diseases, molecular biology, gene mapping, and statistical analysis.
• Field Worker:
• Essential: Graduate Degree in any discipline.
• Desirable: Experience in field and lab work related to agriculture.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 35 years for Junior Research Fellow (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
• Minimum age is 18 years as on date of interview.
