Applications are invited on a plain paper (or signed PDF file) for purely temporary position for one Project Research Scientist I (NM) in a research project entitled “Identification and Classification of Helicobacter Pylori Cysteine Rich Family Proteins and Analysis of Their Redox Properties” funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, India.

Project Research Scientist I (nos. 1)

Essential Qualification: Candidates should possess Ist Class Master Degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university with 4 years’ experience OR 2nd Class M.Sc. + PhD degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university with 6 months working experience. Candidate should have at least 2 publications.

Desirable Qualification: Microbial methods and BSL2 handling. Cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins. Synthesis, bio-functionalization and characterization of nano & polymer composites. Redox studies of nanomaterials and biomolecules. Basic bioinformatics and genome analysis.

Salary: Rs. 56,000/- p.m. + 30% HRA

Duration of the project: The selected candidates will be appointed on a purely temporary basis for six months till the duration of the project (31.01.2026).
