Essential Qualifications:
i) MSc/MTech/ME/MCA in computer science/ Information Technology/Remote Sensing-GIS/Atmospheric science/Geomatics / Geoinformatics / AI/ML/Atmoshperioc Science/ Remote Sensing/Data Science/ Data or System analytics/Agronomy/Plant Physiology/Soil Science/ or equivalent from a recognized university/ institutionwith first class or >7.5% OGPA
ii) Master’s Degree in the above subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor’s degree.
iii) Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET/ MHRD-GATE qualification or Ph.D in any of above disciplines. (As per ICAR memorandum F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F.No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015).
Desirable Qualification:
Experience / Knowledge in 3D graphics/animation/ image processing, Configuring Web Map server, programming in R / IDL/ C#/ Python / Java script/Andriod and cloud computing/ web sources / GIS tools, 3D graphics/ animation/ 3-D modeling, and knowledge in crop/hydrological
