Eligibility Criteria:

1. Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Age Limit: Lower and upper age limits will be 21 years and 45 years respectively, with relaxation of age to SC/ST/OBC and Divyaang candidates as per rules.
3. Essential Educational Qualifications: M.F.Sc./M.Sc. in Zoology/Marine Biology/Life Science from a recognized University.
4. Desirable: Candidates having field experience in freshwater aquaculture/ fish genetics and breeding will be preferred.

Duration of engagement: Up to 31st March, 2026 or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier

Points To be Noted: 

1. Interested candidates should bring their Bio-Data (5 Copies), two passport size photographs and one set
   of self-attested copies of the entire certificates/Marks Sheets/Experience certificate.
2. The original certificates and proof of age and caste to be produced at the time of interview for verification.
3. The selected candidate may also be required to work in rural areas and travel extensively, as per requirement of the work.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. No interim enquiries will be entertained. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the position.
6. The above engagements are purely temporary and will stand terminated automatically after completion of period indicated in the selection offer, or otherwise intimated subsequently subject to willingness of the candidate.
7. The candidate will not have any right for absorption in ICAR- CIFA/ICAR.
8. The selected candidate may have to join immediately.
9. The Director/ PI/Competent Authority, ICAR-CIFA reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process. The decision of the Director/PI/Competent Authority, ICAR-CIFA will be final and binding in all respects.
