VACANCY NOTIFICATION FOR CONTRACTUAL POST (Project Research Scientist-I)

Duration: Initially for a period of 01 Year, further extendable up to 3 years and/or co-terminus with the Research Project based on satisfactory work & conduct of the project.
Essential Qualification: First class M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.) [55% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL/PWD] with GPAT/GATE/NET qualified score card; OR (ii) Second class M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.) with PhD in Pharmacology. The above qualification(s) must be from the recognised Board/ University/ Institute or Foreign University.
Desirable:
- Experience in ageing research.
- Experience in molecular biology techniques, including Western blot, Immunohistochemistry, RT-PCR, flow cytometry, etc.
- Adequate experience in handling small animals.
- Experience in scientific manuscripts and patent drafting.
- Good communication skills
Date of Interview: 21.05.2025 (02:00 PM onwards)
Venue of Interview: Department of Pharmacology, Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, Punjab
Age Limit: Upto 35 years as on date of interview (Relaxation in age is permissible for SC/ST/OBC/Female candidates as per Government of India rules)
