Description
Their field of activity includes:
- the technical implementation of project-related investigations
- the coordination and organization of daily laboratory work as well as
- the supervision of students during internships
Your tasks include sample preparation/maintenance of computer-aided analytical instruments, microbiological (cultivation of microorganisms/fermentation) and molecular biological work (DNA/RNA isolation, PCR) as well as the preparation and execution of microbiological practical courses.
The ability to communicate in English and basic computer skills (Office, analytical software) are required. Experience in preparing and conducting practical courses with a microbiological focus, as well as in the cultivation/fermentation of microorganisms, is advantageous. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in basic biological research, initiative in learning new tasks, flexibility in working hours, and above all, a willingness to collaborate intensively in an international team.
Remuneration is provided, subject to the fulfillment of personal and collective bargaining requirements, up to and including TV-L 9b.
The position is permanent.
