The applicant must also have a documented ability to develop national and international research collaborations and have demonstrated the potential to continue to conduct research of very high quality.

When assessing pedagogical skills, special emphasis will be placed on good teaching and examination skills at undergraduate, advanced and postgraduate levels in the subject area, as well as good supervision skills for students at all levels of education. Pedagogical development work is also highly valued. Skills should be documented in a way that makes it possible to assess the quality of the pedagogical activities
